Our Expertise

  1. Residential Permit / Residential Certificate / FRRO Registration :- This is a mandatory registration for foreign nationals who stay in India for more than 180 days. The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) issues a Residential Permit (RP) or Residential Certificate (RC) to the applicant. It serves as official documentation of the foreign national's residency in India.

  2. Change of Address / Change of Passport within same FRRO :- This process allows foreign nationals to update their address or passport details in the FRRO database. This is required when there is a change of residence within the same jurisdiction or when a new passport is issued to the applicant.

  3. Residential Permits Extension per Applicant/ Registration Extension :- Foreign nationals who wish to extend their stay in India beyond the original permit duration must apply for an extension of their Residential Permit or Registration. This process involves submitting necessary documents and a valid reason for the extension to the FRRO.

  4. Visa Extension :- A visa extension is required for foreign nationals who wish to extend the validity of their visa beyond its original expiry date. This is typically applicable for tourists, students, or employees who are staying longer than initially planned. An application must be submitted to the FRRO or Indian Embassy for approval.

  5. Transfer RC/RP Change of Jurisdiction :- When a foreign national moves to a new city or region within India, they are required to transfer their Residential Certificate (RC) or Residential Permit (RP) from the jurisdiction of the current FRRO to the new FRRO. This involves re-registration and may include submitting updated documents such as proof of residence in the new city.

  6. C-Form :- The C-Form is a document that must be filled out by the host (Indian national or institution) when a foreigner is staying with them in India. This form is submitted to the local police and FRRO for the purpose of tracking foreign nationals' stay, ensuring legal compliance, and monitoring security aspects.

  7. Visa Conversion :- Visa conversion refers to the process of changing one type of visa to another (e.g., from a tourist visa to a student visa, or from a business visa to an employment visa). This is done through the FRRO or Indian consulate and may require submitting additional documents depending on the nature of the conversion.

  8. Exit Permit :- An exit permit is required for foreign nationals who wish to leave India, particularly when their visa or registration status is not in order, or if they are subject to special restrictions. The FRRO issues an exit permit after reviewing the applicant's legal status and ensuring that all formalities have been completed.
